Most of these marriage records or certificates were found at the Lenawee County Historical Society Museum Archives. In most cases they were found in a series of files stored in Archival Safe Hollinger boxes, filed by family surnames. I am NOT researching these families and only have posted them to help other researchers who may not have access to the Museum. Good luck in your research.

Found at the Lenawee County Historical Society Museum Archives, in a Hollinger box, file labeled “Charles Allen”. This is a handwritten document, but it is unknown who actually wrote it. One could surmise it was written by the Justice of the Peace that married this couple. Where it appeared that the letters were capitalized, they were so typed in this transcription of the record.
